A Back-to-School Story Time & Rising Kindergarten Meetup

Join us for a special morning designed to help rising kindergarteners feel excited, connected, and a little more prepared for their next big adventure!

We’ll enjoy a reading of B Is for Brain: Get Ready for School with Riley the Brave, talk about the many feelings that can come with starting school, and spend time connecting with other rising kindergarteners.

Each child will also choose a special Brave Buddy to take home as a comforting reminder that they can do brave things—even when something feels new.

This preschool-friendly story time will include a read-aloud, simple play-based activities, and time for caregivers and children to connect in a warm, welcoming space.

This free parent workshop helps caregivers better understand what may be underneath challenging behaviors like defiance, refusal, emotional outbursts, or power struggles. Together, we will explore behavior through a child-centered, relationship-based lens and talk about practical ways to respond with more connection, curiosity, and confidence.
